Storytelling can be a challenge, especially when working with Reality TV and the less-than-stellar ways it’s often shot. We frequently work with raw, unpolished content. In this case, we needed to present the plotlines and stories of an upcoming season in more visually striking and creative ways. To convey the rise and fall of certain characters and the tensions between them, we took a unique creative approach. As the Director of Motion and Director of VFX, I was responsible for visualizing the script and designing a visual world for GUHH where the stories could unfold. We shot everything on green screen and brought it all to life in post-production using 2d /3d.
